What time can I collect the boat?

Collection is from 2.00pm on day of hire.

 

What time do I return the boat?

Return to Pillings Lock Marina by 9.00am on day of return.

 

Does the boat have Insurance?

The boat will have fully comprehensive Insurance.

 

Is there somewhere safe to leave my car?

There is a designated car parking space which is secure overnight, but this is left at owners risk.

Can I still book if I haven’t driven a boat before?

Yes, but you must be over 25 and we will show you the ropes.

 

What happens if I breakdown?

You will provided with fully comprehensive breakdown cover for the duration of your hire. Please call us and we will get recovery to you asap.

 

Does the boat have heating?

The boat has a full central heating system which is run from Diesel.

 

Do you supply towels and bed-linen?

All towels and bed-linen will be supplied.

 

How do I operate locks?

There is a You-Tube guide attached to the booking confirmation email, but we will also show you what to do.

 

Do you provide Life Jackets?

Life jackets will be provided for all persons aboard.

 

Does the boat have a full tank of Diesel?

Yes, usage will be deducted from your deposit.

 

Do you offer Collision damage waiver?

Yes, if required, and is available at £10 per day which will reduce your excess to zero.

 

Does the boat have wifi?

The boat has wi-fi, but relies upon mobile network coverage, not always guaranteed.

 

Can I bring a dog?

Pets are allowed on the boat but must be pre-booked. A £40 valeting charge will apply.
